Only 8% Want Congress Reelected

Only 8% of Americans want the members of Congress re-elected, according to a CBS News-New York Times poll taken nine months before roughly one-third of the Senate and the entire House face voters.  The February 5-10 survey found 81% of respondents saying the lawmakers shouldn’t receive another term.

This should be a shocking poll to Congress.  The people of America have woken up.  People know their Representative doesn’t represent them or their best interests.

By 80% to 13%, Americans said members of Congress are more interested in serving special interests than the people they represent. While 75% disapproved of the job Congress is doing, the highest level since 74% said they disapproved in October 2008. Congress’s job approval rating was 15% in the current survey; it was 12% in October 2008.

The job socialist Barack Hussein Obama is doing was approved of by 46%; disapproving were 45%. In a December CBS-New York Times poll, his approval rating was 50%, while 39% disapproved.

The poll showed 52% said they disapproved of the way Obama is handling the economy, while 42% approved. And 55% said they disapproved of his handling of the health-care issue, while 35% approved.

Obama’s numbers are dropping just as Congress numbers are.   If they keep pushing Obamacare socialized health care the numbers will drop even further.  Obama and Congress have shown how unethical they are.  People now understand the socialist agenda they are attempting to force on us.  We are saying NO.  They had best head our word.   Their employment rides on it.
