For Today’s Senate Election Democrats Pulled Out All The Stops

The seat held for over 30 years by Ted Kennedy will be filled today.  The socialist Democrats are pulling out all the stops to help Martha Coakley the Democratic candidate.  This Senate election is too close to call.  The Massachusetts race is has become a referendum on the socialist Obamacare health care and runaway spending in Washington D.C.

Coakley ran a very uninspiring campaign with the attitude she is a Democrat and therefore the Senate is hers.  Scott Brown a veteran and member of the Massachusetts State Senate on the other hand has traveled the state meeting people and expressing a conservative viewpoint. 

Over the weekend Senator John Kerry the senior Senator from Massachusetts and Bill Clinton made appearances for Coakley.  Sunday socialist Barack Hussein Obama campaigned with Coakley.  All were trying to bring a victory for another Democrat that looking at her record shouldn’t be running for the Senate.

Even in Massachusetts, a solidly Democratic state represented by the proudly liberal Kennedy for 47 years, Brown has been riding a wave of populist anger over Obama's proposed health care reform plan, taxes, and government spending. A mere blip in the polls until recently, Brown has captivated Republicans and many independents by his promise to slow the Obama agenda in Washington.

 Obama's track record for helping other Democrats, since taking office a year ago hasn't been stellar. He campaigned hard for New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine who ran for re-election last year and in Virginia for Creigh Deeds, the Democratic nominee to replace outgoing Democratic Gov. Tim Kaine. Both lost.

Obama is putting a lot of prestige on the line for Coakley.  The race though isn’t about Obama.  It’s about Obama’s and the Democrats socialist agenda.  It’s about Obamacare and the stimulus package that hasn’t worked.  Most Americans are against these programs and the hard working people of Massachusetts are no different.

Coakley is depending on Obama's star power to boost Democratic turnout, particularly among blue collar and minority voters who might not be motivated to vote. And Obama, whose political muscle has weakened amid the still struggling economy and his push for a controversial health care package, will see much of his legislative agenda threatened if Coakley loses.

The polls show this will be a tight race.  Let’s hope there are no last minute maneuvers from the Democrats to thwart the people’s choice.  The has been talk from state officials and from Washington that if Scott Brown wins they’ll delay his taking his rightful place as long as they can.  With some previous elections and with Obamacare all of America has had enough of the unethical corruption.
