Representative Bart Stupak (D-MI)  a Democrat is saying more in opposition to Obamacare socialized health care bill than elected Republicans are. Now, where are they?  They treat this as just another piece of legislation. They're going to add amendments to it to improve it, but the American people don't want any part of Obamacare. This is such a golden opportunity for the Republican Party, once again, to contrast itself.

Stupak is a pro-life Democrat, which makes him almost non-existent and he is actively fighting the Obamacare socialist health care bill in the House of Representatives.   In a New York Times story on Bart Stupak, they call him the most hated man in Congress.  That says a lot for the big open socialist Democrat tent.

All Stupak wants is for the language in the Obamacare bill to match current law, which it doesn't, and he's holding out for that.  Pelosi says they almost have it done and nobody knows what's getting done, nobody knows what the final bill is going to look like, and Stupak in this Times piece said he'd be glad to vote for it if they'd just fix the language in the health care bill to match current law.  That's all he's asking and yet they label him the most hated man in Congress, which goes to show you how the pro-abortionists are.

With final negotiations on a health care overhaul beginning this week, complaints about as the congressman dryly called it over dinner here recently, are likely to grow even louder.   Scott Schloegel, his chief of staff, said wearily, “I can’t tell you how many New Yorkers have called me up and yelled at me about this Stupak guy.”   Stupak says it’s referred to as the “the evil Stupak amendment.”  The amendment prevents women who receive federal insurance subsidies from buying abortion coverage — but critics assert it could cause women who buy their own insurance difficulty in obtaining coverage.

Mr. Stupak insists that the final bill include his terms, which he says merely reflect current law. If he prevails, he will have won an audacious, counterintuitive victory, forcing a Democratic-controlled Congress to pass a measure that will be hailed as an anti-abortion triumph. If party members do not accept his terms and many vow they will not Mr. Stupak is prepared to block passage of the health care overhaul.

Representative Bart Stupak a breath of fresh air in the corrupt socialist Democratic Party.  Stupak has ethics and principles and stands by them.  No wonder the socialists hate Stupak he is everything they aren’t.

The corruption in Obama’s administration and the Democrat Party grows ever day.  Are there any ethical Democrats left?
