Corrupt Democrats Back Rangel

The elitist progressive Democrats with 6 just as corrupt Republicans voted to block a resolution to remove Charlie Rangel (D-NY) from his chair on the Ways and Means committee.  The Democrats and 6 Republicans show they have no ethics. 

The corrupt Republicans are:

Walter B. Jones (NC)          Peter King (NY)
Tim Murphy (PA)                Don Young (AK)
Dana Rohrabacher (CA)     Ron Paul (TX)

The resolution, brought by Representative John Carter(R-TX), disappears now, because, as Representative Carter pointed out via parliamentary inquiry, the committee has no obligation to consider or debate it any further.   Rangel may be headed for more trouble on the ethics front.

The House Ethics Committee met privately Thursday and is expected to issue an announcement about its sprawling Rangel investigation later today, according to Democratic and Republican insiders. Several members of the committee including those on the special subcommittee investigating Rangel came and went from the ethics panel offices Thursday afternoon in the Capitol basement without commenting on the matter.

It's unclear what the secretive ethics panel will say, but the committee has been conducting a wide-ranging probe of the veteran New York Democrat. The committee is looking into Rangel's use of rent-stabilized apartments in a Harlem luxury building, his fundraising on behalf of the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at City College in New York, a tax provision for a million-dollar donor to the center and his failure to pay taxes on a vacation home in the Dominican Republic.

Representatives Peter Welch (D-VT) and Gregg Harper(R-MS) said they couldn't talk about it as they left a meeting of the ethics committee in the basement of the Capitol. "You'll have to ask the chairman," Welch said.

America the lack of ethics and morals is a disgrace.  Why would Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats vote to keep the corrupt Charlie Rangel?  Pelosi and those who voted to block the resolution are as corrupt as Rangel.
