Democrat Double Standard At Work

The elitist progressive liberal Democrats in the House of Representatives are debating whether to admonish Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) next week.   Their outcry is over Wilson at the Joint Session yelling “you lie” when Barack Hussein Obama said illegal aliens wouldn’t be covered under Obamacare health care.

It was accurate and Obama did lie.  As the saying goes there is a time and place for everything.  It was not the time nor the place for Representative Wilson to voice the statement. 

Many people are rallying behind Wilson.  The elitist progressive liberal democrats know the outcry has struck a chord with America.  They are afraid it will catch on and America will see more and more of theirs and Obama’s lies.

"This is about how elected officials should be conducting themselves in the well of the U.S. House of Representatives," Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina, the third-ranking House Democrat, said in an interview Friday.

Joe Biden said, "I was embarrassed. I was embarrassed for a chamber and a Congress I love.  I served there for 36 years and I thought it demeaned the institution, and I thought it sent a signal to every young person out there that, that was very, very damaging, but I know Joe, he apologized, I take him at his word that he got caught up in the emotion of the moment, but the fact is that the assertion the President made is absolutely true.  It will not cover undocumented aliens."

This is another double standard of the elitist progressive liberal Democrats.   President Bush was booed in 2005 during his State of The Union Address.  President Bush was speaking on the impending bankruptcy of social security. President Bush was telling the truth here about Social Security, talking about where it was headed and his attempt to reform it.

Ted Koppel reported, "When the President talked about the bankruptcy of Social Security there were clearly some Democrats on the floor who thought that that was taking it too far, and they did something that they booed." Where was the decorum and precious protocol then?  Did the elitist progressive liberal Democrat’s admonish the hecklers who booed?  The elitist progressive liberal main stream media and Democrats had no problem with that.  President Bush was right.  Representative Joe Wilson is right.  The Democrat double standard is wrong.
