Circumspectly
Our Morality Needs To Be Checked By Biblical Standards
“See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise,” Ephesians 5:17
Circumspectly is defined as being prudent. In these economic times we need to think about being good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with. Our marriages and children should be put above our friends, coworkers, and frivolous items we at times think we need so badly.
Our morality needs to be checked by Biblical standards. The liberal has shown us to live in a way that says do what you want when you want, no matter if you if can afford it or not. No matter if it’s morally or ethically right or not.
The liberal today says cover your butt, lie whenever convenient. We see too much of this today. No morals, ethics, or Christian values. Our leaders have succumbed to these morally wrong tenets. We see leaders lie, and when caught they blame others.
For the past fifty plus years we as a people have moved in this liberal and morally and ethically wrong direction. How do you think it’s working so far? Teen drugs, crime rate rising, disobedience to parents and authority. Abortions, STDS, and divorce are on the steady increase.
Our economy is the most apparent manifestation of our recklessness. Our need to have more than the next guy, the attitude today of “if it feels good do it.” No Christian values, morals, or ethics.
Right now China is buying our debt. How so very nice of China. What cost will this bring to us, our children, and our grand children? We will soon be slaves to our national debt. We must be vigilant so as not to be slaves to China.
What is the answer? Jesus Christ said it 2000 years ago “Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” Don’t be fools, be prudent. Be wise for we may not be able to change the world, but we can work to improve the world. We can change ourselves and work to help others.
May God Bless America
